His published books include Media and Left (Brill, 2014) and Media, Ideology and Hegemony (Brill, 2018). Yasemin Giritli İnceoğlu is a retired Professor from Galatasaray University, Faculty of Communication, where she had worked since December 2004. In addition to being a member of organizations such as ILAD (Association for Communication Research), UNESCO, and the American Institute of Biography, İnceoğlu participated in the Council of Europe's media literacy meetings as a European Commission Expert and was invited as a guest lecturer to Columbia University (1994) and Salzburg Seminars (2003) and most recently to the Center for Media Studies at the University of New Delhi in 2014.
