Overview

MEDIA COMPOSER 6: PROFESSIONAL EFFECTS AND COMPOSITING teaches film and video editors about the full range of effects available in Media Composer. Along with its counterpart, Media Composer 6: Professional Picture and Sound Editing, this book provides the foundation for Media Composer Professional Certification through an Avid Learning Partner. In this thorough guide, you'll go far beyond the basics and learn how to apply, design, and build your own effects; how to make full use of all of Media Composer's effects nesting techniques; how to composite various elements using different types of keys; and how to animate effects using keyframes and the motion tracker. You'll also get familiar with the Avid FX interface that comes bundled with Media Composer. Media Composer is a powerful tool, the standard editing system used by professionals in the film and television industries. Go beyond the basics and take a giant step toward your mastery of this important software with Media Composer 6: Professional Effects and Compositing. MEDIA COMPOSER 6: PROFESSIONAL EFFECTS AND COMPOSITING (course # MC205) is part of the Avid Learning Series.
