Author InformationDavid East has spent twelve years with Avid Technology as an application specialist and trainer working throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Currently based in Singapore, he teaches editing to all levels on Avid Media Composer. Prior to joining Avid, he spent nine years at the BBC in London, where he pioneered the broadcaster's transition from tape to digital non-linear editing.
