Sonja Smith is a preschool teacher with over seventeen years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Author of her first book, Meano Dino (Don't say hurtful words) she is dedicated to create a fun, innovative way children foster a genuine love of reading and learning. Her aim is to enrich the children's vocabulary, pre reading and social skills. This vision led her to create books with costumes for the main chracters. Owner of Booktumes, Sonja will continue to author books for preschoolers. What sets Booktumes apart from other children's stories is every book has costumes. By providing costumes to reenact the story, the youngsters become the characters, enhance their communication skills and receive the lesson. Magic!
