Recognizing the need for qualified Microsoft security professionals, they have created a new specialization--MCSE: Security--to ensure adequate levels of support for its enterprise networking solutions. Exam 70-299 is a core requirement for this specialization, but can also be applied as an elective for either the standard MCSA or MCSE designations.
