I experienced an assortment of different adventures in my years of work, including capturing and reallocating McGregor the moose calf. As conservation officers we would travel to work by various methods, including helicopters and airplanes, jet boats and ATVs, on horseback and by foot. Our job was to protect the environment and the animals that lived within it. It was a fun and exciting job that came with many rewards but also put you in harm's way.
