Moody is an award-winning educator, writer, and speaker who has worked as a teacher and professor for over 30 years. One of her awards was the John Robert Gregg Award, the highest honor in her field. Her most recent position was Dean of the College of Hospitality, Retail, and Sport Management at the University of South Carolina. Working with co-author Dr. Robert Sherfield, this team has published over 20 college textbooks. They now turn their interests to writing books for children that illustrate the importance of accepting all people as they are while learning to appreciate differences. She loves spending time with her grandchildren, playing sports, traveling, tubing on the lake, walking on South Carolina beaches, and of course, reading great children's books. Favorite Children's Book: Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss. Robert M. Sherfield, Ph.D. is an educator, motivational speaker, and author. Robb has been teaching public speaking, technical writing, and college success at various colleges for 32 years. He received his Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. He has authored and coauthored over 30 books including Cornerstones for College Success, The Everything Self-Esteem Book, and 365 Things I Learned in College. Robb's first professional position out of graduate school was Children's Librarian for the Union Carnegie Library in Union, South Carolina. He has been awarded the Distinguished Teacher of the Year award four times from three different colleges. Recently, he was named Online Teacher of the Year at the College of Southern Nevada. Robb currently resides in Las Vegas and lives with this best friend, Chester the Cat.
