Author Information

Max Corvo was born in Sicily and came with his family to the United States in the 1920s. He was drafted in 1941 and selected as an Italian speaker by the OSS. He became head of OSS secret intelligence in Italy from the landings in Sicily in 1943 to May 1945. Max Corvo died in 1995.
