OverviewMax, a tiny Frenchie cannot accept the fact that he is a dog. Born the smallest in the liter, believes he could be a cat, even a rabbit. Max meets a squirrel with a bushy tail, who is hanging from a tree branch chuckling away at him. The squirrel feels bad for Max and his confusion, so he tells him about a park he has been to where they have the biggest trees with the best nuts. At this park the squirrel has seen many dogs of all sorts, even dogs that look like Max. The story theme is of self-acceptance, as Max learns he is a dog, and it is okay to be different.
