Not only was it a fun read about adventure and friendship, but it was such an inclusive story! This book is a perfect example of ""placing yourself in someone else's shoes."" Matt is a character who was born blind and throughout the book there are examples of what he goes through including ableism comments from public interactions, being guided, having to learn things intentionally, and more! As someone who interacts with the blind community, it is so refreshing to read a lighthearted story that still has those real moments to break the misconception that people who are blind can't do the same stuff and can't get into trouble and adventures just the same as sighted people.
