Overview

Modern mathematics is built on the theories developed in the last century by French schools, in particular, by the school formed by mathematicians gathered under the pseudonym Nicolas Bourbaki. Among so many great ideas, there is one that is fundamental: that of function between sets. This book is dedicated to understanding this concept. I must clarify that this is a first version, which is unfinished, because in addition to taking the reader to know the universe of functions between sets, it is expected that, in the future, chapters can be annexed that take us to very interesting corners of the Modern mathematics, I refer to so many and many theories that every mathematician knows, but that most young people and society do not know.For the reading of this book, there is an important seriation for chapters 1 and 2. The next two chapters can be read in any order. We finish the book with a brief introduction to the concept of the limit of a function, which in turn leads us to know the concept of infinity, which in the future we can explain in greater detail, either in a new edition or in a second volume.
