Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Khrystyna Berladir, Ph.D., works as an Associate Professor and a Researcher at the Department of Automobile and Manufacturing Technologies of the Technical University of Košice, the Slovak Republic, and at the Department of Applied Materials Science and Technology of Structural Materials of Sumy State University, Ukraine. Her research is concerned with the design of composite materials, materials modification for the automotive industry, and biomaterials for bioengineering applications. Dr. Berladir completed internships at Poznan University of Technology, Poland, and the University of Liverpool, UK. She also gave lectures within the Erasmus program at Eskişehir Technical University, Turkey, University of West Bohemia, Czech Republic, Lublin University of Technology, Poland, and Alexander Dubček University of Trenčin, Slovak Republic. She is a member of the International Association for Technological Development and Innovations, the International Innovation Foundation, and the EAI research group. Dr. Berladir is also acting as a reviewer of scientific articles published in Springer Nature, Elsevier, and MDPI publishing houses. She is also a member of the organizational committees of the DSMIE Conference Series (2018−2025), the InterPartner Conference Series (2019−2025), and the scientific committee MANUFACTURING (2022, 2024). Dr. Zuzana Mitaľová, Ph.D., completed her university studies at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies of TUKE (Technical University of Košice) with a seat in Prešov. In 2012, she defended her dissertation titled: ""A Contribution to Solving the Problem of Machining Composite Materials Based on WPC."" Two years later, she completed her postdoctoral studies at VŠB-TU in Ostrava, Czech Republic. In 2023, she was appointed as an associate professor in the field of Manufacturing Technologies. She currently works at the Faculty of Manufacturing Technologies at TUKE. She is the author of more than 100 publications published in both foreign and domestic publishers and co-author of two patents. Her scientific and professional focus is oriented toward composite materials with natural reinforcements, biomaterials, and material applications in the automotive industry Prof. Vitalii Ivanov, DSc., Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP, Professor of the Department of Automobile and Manufacturing Technologies of the Technical University of Košice, Slovak Republic, and Head of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Machines and Tools of Sumy State University, Ukraine. Prof. Ivanov carried out research, completed internships, and gave lectures in Germany, the USA, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, China, Poland, the Czech Republic, etc. Furthermore, he participated in research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, State Fund for Fundamental Research, Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, and Ukrainian and German industrial companies. He also has experience coordinating and co-coordinating research projects funded by TEMPUS, Erasmus+, Czech Development Agency, DAAD, Gene Haas Foundation & Haas Automation, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and NAWA. Since 2020, he has been a Member of the Experts’ Team of the Invention Support Fund of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and an Expert of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the State Certification of Scientific Institutions. In 2022, he became a Member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on certification of scientific personnel in Manufacturing Engineering. Since 2024, he has also been serving as an expert in carrying out scientific evaluation in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering for the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
