From 1963 to 1988, he was engaged in the research of material physics and applications of X-ray diffraction and electron microscope at Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, CAS. He worked as a full professor at the Department of Physics, Shanghai University, from 1993 to 1999. Yuwan Lou obtained doctorate from Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2007. She has been engaged in the research of chemical power supply and related materials since 1993 and has participated in more than 20 projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level. She has also published more than 30 articles in peer-review journals and has 20 patents. Jian Zhang works as an associate professor at Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology, CAS. His current interests are lithium-ion battery and its related materials. He has participated in more than 20 provincial and ministerial projects and presided over 6 projects. He has also published more than 20 papers in peer-reviewed journals and applied for more than 10 patents. Xiaohua Xie received doctorate from Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology, CAS, in 2008.
