Lauren Bailey always dreamed of authoring a children's book, so when the time was right, she took inspiration from a real-life experience to bring her dream to life. An English language educator who has spent 20 years helping students develop a love of reading, Lauren is thrilled to share her story with young audiences. When she's not reading and writing, Lauren loves spending time with her husband, two children, and pups Benny and Ginger. Hiruni Kariyawasam is a children's book illustrator from Sri Lanka. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from the University of Moratuwa. Now working full-time as a children's book illustrator, Hiruni brings over six years professional experience to her work. She enjoys creating heart-warming illustrations that appeal to young readers, using traditional watercolour techniques in her signature style.
