Maestro Diego Barbosa-Vásquez is a Colombian-born Opera, Orchestra, and Ballet Conductor & Scholar. Worldwide trained and currently based in the USA. He is the General Director of the Performing Arts Laboratory (USA) and Music Director of The Americas Chamber Orchestra. Maestro Diego is recognized as a ""Musical Genius"" by the international press and is Official Ambassador of Colombia (Country Brand) since 2017. He has gained international recognition through his performances across the globe, by representing Latin America in conducting competitions, conferences, and events, and is recognized for his major scholarly/practical contributions to the Performing Arts field.Maestro Barbosa-Vásquez has collaborated as Conductor with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Nashville Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, IU Opera and Ballet Theater, and IU Symphonies (USA).
