VALERIE BANNERT-THURNER holds a PhD in the field of Technology and Innovation Management from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH Zurich, Switzerland. She is currently working as Director for Marketing and Business Development at a high-tech company in California. The book has been produced in association with the European Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (EITM). This is a collaboration of professors from leading European universities focused on technology and innovation management from a combined science and engineering perspective.
