Having completed his neurosurgical residency training at AIIMS, he has been a dedicated faculty member at this premier institute. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery and Gamma Knife. Under his leadership, Gamma Knife procedures have tripled to over 1,000 annually. His pioneering research on developmental CV junction anomalies has established the world's largest patient series (nearly 800 cases), offering groundbreaking insights into their management. Prof. Deepak Agrawal is currently a Professor of Neurosurgery and Gamma-Knife at AIIMS, New Delhi. He is the co-inventor of a ventilator and holds seven patents to his credit.
