ABOUT THE AUTHOR Davide Tanzi, also known as Zemede Alemayehu, was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to an Italian father and an Ethiopian mother. Raised within a rich fusion of cultures, traditions, and spiritual perspectives, his early life laid the foundation for a worldview rooted in unity, resilience, and conscious awareness. The third of five siblings-Emanuela, Emanuele, Daniele, and Pietro-Davide was known from a young age for his vibrant energy, adventurous nature, and deep curiosity about life. His childhood, however, was shaped by profound change. Due to the civil war in Ethiopia, his family was forced to leave their homeland and begin a new life in Italy, first in Rome, and later in the Emilia-Romagna region, in the town of Collecchio near Parma. Growing up between cultures presented both challenges and lessons. Adapting to new languages, environments, and social realities demanded inner strength and perseverance. Through these experiences, Davide developed a deep resilience and an enduring desire to understand life beyond surface appearances-seeking meaning, purpose, and truth. Over the years, Davide traveled extensively and lived in several European countries before eventually settling in Canada, where he currently resides. His life journey across continents and cultures has profoundly shaped his spiritual path and creative work. Davide is the author of Born in Kush (2019) and Master Your Mind, his second book.
