OverviewWith a view to the fact that the quality of examining TEFL theses is of high significance because of the added interest of TEFL students to higher education studies, dealing with justice in examining TEFL M.A. theses as a research gap can be advantageous for different groups of stakeholders including M.A. students and thesis supervisors. Given that supervisors and students are both involved in a procedure like thesis writing, both groups' perceptions of examiners' justice are worth exploring. Another gap identified by the researcher in the extant literature is that mostly studies done on justice in instructional contexts have followed a quantitative design. Therefore, the need to more exploratory studies is deeply felt.
