As a journalist, he has written for The Guardian, The Observer, The Independent, New Statesman, Loaded, Time Out, Mid¬week and many other publications. He is married with two daughters, a border terrier and a large collection of West Ham programmes in the attic. Once an Essex man, he now lives in north London.
