Welcome to the latest edition of the FolioMed Directory of Chiropractors, Podiatrists, Dentists and Optometrists-Massachusetts-2016! With this and other Directories, FolioMed continues to address a fundamental need in the medical community for comprehensive, accurate and detailed data about healthcare providers and their practices. Folio's databases are developed from a combination of public, semi-public, and proprietary data sources that, combined with specialized verification processes and software, result in information about healthcare practioners that is unavailable from any other source. The uniqueness of Folio publications also derives from the integration in one volume of a healthcare provider's multiple practice addresses, practice types and names; telephone and fax numbers; specialties; hospital affiliations; E-Mail addresses; and Websites. Folio continually verifies and monitors current information trends within the medical community and includes new provider identification requirements such as the National Provider Identifier (NPI) required by HIPAA for the submission of all standard electronic transactions. This Directory was developed after research and correspondence with current Folio customers. Our goal is to provide our customers with a Directory that meaningfully assists them in efficiently accomplishing the transactions and data requirements necessary in today's healthcare environment.
