He specializes in Media and Entertainment Law and represents many television, radio, newspaper, book and magazine clients. He has been an adjunct professor in the Journalism Department at the University of Hawaii where he taught Media Law. In 1983 he received the Freedom of Information Award from the Hawaii Chapter of Sigma Delta Chi. He received his B.A. degree from Syracuse University and his J.D. degree from Duke University.
