He teaches courses on Mary at the International Marian Research Institute at the University of Dayton and is professor emeritus at the University of Dayton. A past president of the Mariological Society of America, he is the author of the trilogy Mary of Galilee, Mary Faithful Disciple, With a Listening Heart and also a book on his founder's use of Marian texts.
