OverviewHave you ever dreamed of visiting Deep Space? Lewis Pinault has. A scientist and budding explorer, Lewis watched the race to the Moon as a young boy and dreamed of exploring distant planets. His boyhood love led him to work with NASA, Lunar Mission One and Mars One. He even applied to join the Mars One programme to colonise Mars. Lewis isn't alone in his desire to see what life might be like on Mars. Mars Ahead is the companion guide to this next frontier of human exploration. In this exciting, colourful narrative, Lewis shows us the key characters involved in the race to Mars, the technologies need to get us there and the latest, cutting-edge research into life on the planet. This is an insider's view on the next great Space Race, from space suits and rovers, to the disaster scenarios would-be explorers have to consider.
