Strategy is the guideline in following a process to reach a position where successful content is recognized. A process which does not foster content in purpose is useless. This process is merely action with no thought, movement without balance, and a bridge or path to nowhere. Strategy is the means by which obstacles to spiritual success are overcome and territorial strongholds are rendered inert. Jesus demonstrates His strategy against the serpent on the summit of the religious mountain where He was confronted to render submission to the serpent's plan to maintain control of that and other mountains of influence on earth. The strategy displayed by Jesus was to stand toe to toe with the serpent, in his territory, and answer all demonic innuendos and directions. Jesus' responded by quoting to him the eternal word of the Eternal God. The Lord allowed Himself to be led by the serpent to that marketplace even after concluding a forty day fast.
