Author Information

John Dunt is a Consultant with Clyde & Co, where he was a partner for 30 years, specialising in marine insurance, with particular reference to cargo insurance. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Maritime Law, University of Southampton. John was ex-officio legal advisor to the Joint Cargo Committee, and was involved in drafting the wordings used in marine cargo insurance policies worldwide to control terrorism risks. He currently sits with the Lloyd's Market Association Steering Group overseeing the revisions to the Institute Trade and Commodity Clauses.
