Leslie D. W. Jones, the HBCU Guru, is a third-generation educator and double alumna of Howard University. She is the founder of The Hundred-Seven, an organization established to positively promote the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Jones is the author of several HBCU-themed books for children and teens including Community, Culture, & College: Finding Your Fit and an HBCU, Counting to College: An HBCU Counting Book, and The Future is STEM: An HBCU Alphabet.
