OverviewCustom geographical maps are a popular way to represent data on the web. More and more users are comfortable using a web mapping interface thanks mostly to the work of Google Maps. But users also expect sophisticated site design, and not just an embedded map from some other source dropped onto the middle of the page. This concise book shows you how to use out-of-the-box modules such as Drupal's Openlayers to create custom maps, as well as outside services like MapBox and Cloudmade that give you more control over which tile sets you use.
