Author Information

When Marilyn Butler's first grandchild was born in Washington, D.C., she immediately took an apartment to be close and available. The rest is history. She was named ""Georgetowner of the Year"" in 2021 by The Georgetowner newspaper for her work on ""Mapping Georgetown,"" a community effort to collect and archive personal stories and memories. The project will be archived with the D.C. Public Library's Peabody Room for preservation.
