Author Information

Antonio Ramírez de León, PhD, DMin, was born in Mexico City. He holds advanced degrees in theology and educational psychology, and doctorates in counseling education and supervision and in ministry. He has more than twenty-five years of experience giving workshops, seminars, conferences, and retreats in the United States, Mexico, Central America, and Argentina. He also has twenty-five years of experience in parish ministry. Doctor Ramirez is director of the Breathe-Respira counseling and education ministry for Holy Trinity and St. Luke's parishes in San Antonio and is an adjunct professor in religious studies at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. Since 1995, he has been a professional psychotherapist for children, adolescents, adults, and couples. His website is Breathe-Respira.com.
