Lipidology is the study of cholesterol, in particular in finding treatments for high cholesterol and other lipid disorders.  This book is a comprehensive guide to lipidology for endocrinologists and trainees. The final section examines Dyslipidemia (an abnormal amount of lipids in the blood) in specific sectors of the population – children and adolescents, pregnant women, the elderly, in HIV patients, and in patients with chronic kidney disease.
