Professor Manindra Kumar Meher is the great-grandsons of Swabhabakabi Gangadhar Meher, the renowned poet of Odisha. He is the first Odia researcher of the works of Manoj Das, the well-known bilingual Odia author. ""Laxmi's Adventure"" is a great creation of Manoj Das. This is the first book in Odisha based on this short story. Ipsita Das, the translator of this book is currently working as the Asst Professor of English in the Department of Languages and Literature at the Fakir Mohan University, Balashore, India.
