Born in 1967 in Baltimore, Theodore Diaz is the son of an illusionist who transmitted him the passion for persuasion and mind tricks. At the age of 16, Theodore received a book on body language by Paul Ekman. This book awoke in him an interest in psychological studies and the desire to become a psychologist. Indeed, when he was 18, Theodore started to study psychology at university. 2 years later, he took part in some seminars held by Richard Bandler, co-creator of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. At the age of 24, Theodore signed up for a training course on the science of persuasion held by Dr. Robert Cialdini, a celebrated social psychologist in the field of influence and persuasion. Since that moment, Theodore has studied and analysed human behaviour to understand the psychological mechanism of how and why people find themselves saying YES! and the scientific principles behind it.
