Author Information

Naomi Hughes is an author and school librarian in Minnesota, where she lives with her family and a house full of pets. She writes all sorts of books for kids, from nonfiction picture books to science fiction and fantasy for teens. She loves all things manga and anime and also enjoys traveling, reading, escape games, and going on adventures. Vincent Batignole trained at the École Pivaut in Nantes, France. His professional journey started in 2005 with the comic series GloomCookie, created by Serena Valentino (Disney's Villains book series) and Ted Naifeh (Courtney Crumrin). Since then, he's been illustrating and writing for various international clients while earning a Master's Degree in cinema history and film analysis. He currently lives in Paris, surrounded by what's easily one of the biggest collections of manga drawn by CLAMP.
