About the Author Manchester-born Stuart Brodkin, now exiled in London 188.4 miles from the Etihad, has been a City fan all his life. He attended Manchester Grammar School but skipped university to begin a career as a journalist, graduating from local papers to working in Fleet Street for the Daily Mirror and Daily Express. He has written numerous sports books and biographies including Enter the Dragon, the autobiography of Theo Paphitis.
