She is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at Nelson Mandela University, South Africa, focusing on the impact of trade liberalisation and renewable energy consumption on industrial development and carbon emissions in Namibia. Dr. Nautwima is a Consultant - Economist and Trade Data Analyst at the African Development Bank Group, where she contributes to regional development and integration initiatives. Her work includes producing key knowledge products such as the Africa Visa Openness Index and the Africa Regional Integration Index, as well as engaging in policy formulation, trade, and investment strategy. With a strong academic background spanning Africa, Europe, and Asia, Dr. Nautwima has earned multiple degrees, including an MA in Economics from Savitribai Phule Pune University (India) and an MSc in Energy Policy from the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (Algeria).
