Felton Jr. As a follow-up volume to Food Industry Management and Economic Development, this book presents case studies that deal with issues of challenges of economic and social development, such as expansion of domestic markets, the establishment of export markets, revitalization and establishment of industries, the building of needed infrastructure, and the stimulation of entrepreneurial activities. Based upon real initiatives, these case studies focus on the challenges and demands faced by real managers and set forth the problems and opportunities these managers face, as well as the decisions they had to make. Dr. Edward L. Felton Jr. is currently the Walsh Professor of Ethics and Business Practice at the Mason School of Business of the College of William and Mary. During his 35-year career in management education, he has worked with a variety of domestic and international private and public sector organizations.
