Thomas Cook is the Managing Director of Blue Tiger International, a premier consulting firm specializing in supply chain management, trade compliance, global purchasing, disruption management, international business, and logistics. With over 35 years of experience, Tom has helped companies worldwide optimize their operations, manage import/export processes, and develop resilient business strategies. Previously, Tom served as CEO of American River International in New York and Apex Global Logistics Supply Chain Operation in Los Angeles. His leadership spans across executive management, business development, and operational excellence. Tom is a recognized authority in his field, serving on the New York District Export Council and holding board positions across multiple corporations. He is also the Director of the National Institute of World Trade (niwt.org), a New York-based educational and training organization with a 30-year legacy. Both Blue Tiger International and NIWT are strategic partners of the U.S. Department of Commerce. In addition, Tom is the Director of Professional Development for ASCM LI-NY, and a frequent lecturer and trainer for leading organizations including ASCM, ISM, CSCMP, AMA, AAEI, NADEC, and others. His consulting practice includes executive mentoring in general management, operations, customer service, sales, business development, time management, and leadership coaching.
