He has more than 25 years of research experience in the fields of risk analysis, safety assessment and sustainable design of chemical processes, with a specific focus on multi-risk assessment and cascading events, including domino effect and Natech scenarios. Prof. Cozzani chairs the Technical Committee on Chemical and Process Industry of the European Safety and Reliability Association and is the Italian delegate in the Working Party on Loss Prevention in the Process Industry established by the European Federation of Chemical Engineering. Fabrizio Paolacci is professor in Structural Engineering at Roma Tre University—Department of Civil, Computer Science and Aeronautical Technologies Engineering, and his main scientific interests are mainly focused on risk assessment and mitigation strategies for civil and industrial infrastructures subjected to natural hazards. He has gained a long-standing experience in managing national and international research projects, dealing with seismic risk of hazardous industrial facilities, acquiring a specific expertise about the static and dynamic response of storage tanks. He is currently chair of Working Group 13 (Seismic assessment, design and resilience of industrial facilities) of European Association of Earthquake Engineering. In this respect, he is collaborating with the members of CEN/TC 250 Structural Eurocodes for the revision of the EN1998. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
