OverviewManagement Consultancy provides a comprehensive introduction to the consulting industry, bringing together, for the first time, a number of competing and complementary perspectives on the consulting industry into one book. The text begins with the presentation of a theoretical underpinning, before outlining how to carry out management consultancy, and providing guidance on entering the industry. This insightful text equips students with the information and skills necessary to become a successful management consultant and enables them to gain a greater understanding of how the industry works, as well as the nature of the job itself. Students are encouraged to discuss and debate issues in order to develop critical analysis skills, and the inclusion of practitioner insights throughout the text ensures that there are ample opportunities for understanding how the theory may or may not transfer through to practice. The book is accompanied by an online resource centre providing additional resources for both students and lecturers.
