DR. REX S. VANDERWOOD is an internationally-recognized leader, speaker, and humanitarian, who for more than three decades, has impacted thousands of men, women, and children in more than forty countries worldwide. He served twenty-six years as a senior leader in the United States Air Force, eight years as a commander, responsible for $6.5 billion in Department of Defense assets and 38,000 people and their families. Dr. Vanderwood has eight college degrees, including a doctorate in business administration, and is managing partner of a successful international strategic consulting firm. His global influence extends to international government leaders and organizations as diverse as the Vice President of the United States, South African Deputy President, Argentinian, Kyrgyzstan, and Slovenian heads of state to prestigious universities and colleges. Dr. Vanderwood is the recipient of five Meritorious Service medals, the USAF's prestigious Lance P. Sijan Leadership Award, and the Excellence in Federal Government Leader of the Year Award. He was honored to receive the State of Hawaii's Joint Venture Education Forum's Top Contributor Award.
