I am the proud grandmother of an almost two year old grandson and the mother of four. I am a long time employee of the Newark School System and a writer of poetry. I decided to write this book because of my delightful interactions with my grandson and the joy I felt whenever he learned to say something new. I wanted others to see that you can enjoy your toddlers, (whether it's your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew) in many ways as they learn new concepts. Learning can be fun when you add singing, rhyming words, clapping, and smiles to your toddler's day.
