OverviewThis book attempts to highlight both Gowda's poetic and political practices, grounded on a thoughtful and perceptive view of the world, accompanied by an awareness of the symbolic and communicative value of matter, objects and their remains. This is the catalogue of the exhibition Remains, co-organised by Pirelli HangarBincocca (Milan) and Bombas Gens Centre d Art (Valencia), that showcases more than twenty years of Sheela Gowda's artistic production.
