He founded and is executive director of the educational nonprofit Next Vista for Learning, which houses a free library of videos by and for teachers and students at NextVista.org. Additionally, Rushton is the Global Projects Lead at the Krause Center for Innovation at Foothill College in Los Altos, California. He holds masters degrees in Education and East Asian Studies from Stanford University. Rushton regularly keynotes at national and international conferences, and has trained and worked with educators and other professionals around the world. His fun and thoughtful talks center on inspiration and creativity, avenues for engaging learning, the power of digital media and tools for collaboration, and personal and professional perspectives in a technology-infused, every-changing world.
