Amy Schembri is the mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and aunt of football players who has spent a great deal of her life at a football pitch. Her writing journey began when she observed children as young as eight having to fight ferociously for a spot in their football team, when they should be simply enjoying the game for the sake of it.
