Overview

In this latest Broken Lawyer novel, Jake is drawn into helping his friend Tommy Shoo prove the police charged the wrong man with murder. In a case that has more twists than a pretzel can Jake turn back the clock and, in the end, make it right? Jake's life becomes more complicated when Joey Bats DiFalco brings Jake a new client. Unlike Joey's last referral, this client isn't a mobster, she's Joey's sweet young cousin and she has a big problem. Solving her problem proves to be far more complicated than Jake could ever have imagined. The plot is set in New York City's Chinatown and features the regular cast of characters, Tommy Shoo, Linda Chow, old man Shoo, Connie, Detective Chen and of course Gracie. As with the proceeds from all the Broken Lawyer Novels, the proceeds from this novel will be donated to the Lowcountry Food Bank, the Veterans' Welcome Home and Resource Center, and Providence Home.
