Her work focuses on the societal, regulatory, and ethical dimensions of biomedicine. She is a member of the Young Academy of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Science and the Arts (KVAB).Anja Krumeich is Associate Professor of Global Health at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, and director of the Maastricht Global Health program.
