She is also Assistant Director of the Moving On Center Certificate Program in Somatics and Participatory Arts m Oakland, CA. She holds a BA m psychology from Duke University and an MFA m dance from Sarah Lawrence College. Ms. Hackney performed with the Bill Evans Dance Company has taught throughout the United States and Europe, and previously was on the faculty of the University of Washington.
