Overview

A house is a building used as a dwelling or the interior of a dwelling. It can also designate a building housing the activities of a public or private establishment. Houses reflect the living conditions and cultural heritage of their builders. In their homes, people must be able to live at ease, in other words, to come and go, carry out various tasks, perform certain gestures, sit and sleep without experiencing unnecessary fatigue.In Haiti, however, we often see large buildings with the appearance of a fine house, but with mediocre distribution. The owners have no documentation concerning their homes. Our observations and dialogues with several owners and tenants show that these problems are due, in the vast majority of cases, to a lack of planning for construction projects, and a lack of knowledge of the steps required to carry out a successful construction project.To this end, this book places particular emphasis on the planning phase of your project, to guide you towards almost total project success.
