Author Information

About Scott MacWherter: Just three days after graduating high school, Scott enlisted in the US Marine Corps, kickstarting an adventurous lifestyle that would shape his future. After his military days, he worked on luxury cruise ships, traveling to more than 45 countries, cementing his love for discovery and cultural exploration -- indeed, he dated an Australian girl, then married her. A random traumatic experience of being robbed at gunpoint gave him crippling PTSD, but he immersed himself in therapy and intensive training in fear and anxiety management. His recovery included an outdoor wilderness adventure course that taught him the transformative power of adventure - as a tool for personal growth and healing. Later on, while most people just dream of these types of experiences, Scott rented an RV, and drove across the USA, seeking new experiences and connections. And finally, he moved his wife and daughter to his wife's original hometown of Melbourne, Australia, where he continues to embrace life's adventures and inspire others with his story of resilience and discovery.
