This four-volume work presents data on over 18,000 major companies of western Europe. It is intended to be of use to firms wishing to do business in Europe and in particular to identify additional European customers, trading partners, joint venture prospects or acquisitions to take advantage of the Single European Market. Information provided includes: company name, address, phone, fax and telex; names of chairman, president and each board member; names of senior management; principal activities of the company; principal brand names and trademarks; principal subsidiaries and associated companies; bankers; number of employees; financial information since 1993; and principal shareholders. Three indexes list: all the companies mentioned in the text; companies per country; and companies by SIC business category within each country.
